Edit host file in Mac

1. search -> "terminal"

2. "terminal" pops up.

3. type "sudo nano /private/etc/hosts"

4. type in your account password when asked

5. paste text

6. save by "ctrl+o" and hit return

7. "ctrl+x" to exit.  Done.
